KITCHEN WORKTOPS
Selecting The Right Worktop
Selecting the right worktop for a kitchen island is crucial in creating a beautiful and functional space. A kitchen island is often the focal point of the kitchen, so it’s important that it not only looks great but also serves your specific needs. For this reason, we have compiled a diverse range of worksurfaces to cater to every taste and requirement.
Customers can choose a worktop material that aligns with their lifestyle and needs. For instance, some materials may be more durable and stain-resistant, making them ideal for busy kitchens with heavy use. In contrast, others may offer a more luxurious appearance, perfect for creating a statement piece in the kitchen.
Ultimately, our collection of worksurfaces provides flexibility to create the perfect cental hub for your kitchen.
Oak
Solid stave Oak finished with Danish oil is one of our most popular worktop choices. With a thickness of 40mm and available in depths of 64, 72, 92-95cm. For larger depths, we can combine two worktops.
Solid Pine
This worktop offers a cost-effective alternative to solid stave oak. We combined two solid pine boards to form a 36 mm edge. With lengths available up to 150 cm long and depths of 60-120cm.
Walnut
Walnut worktops are similar to Oak, with a 40 mm solid stave. However Walnut tends to darken with age. This worktop is available in depths of 64 and 92-95cm.
Laminate
Laminate tops, although priced similarly to Oak, this worktop material offers a cost-effective alternative to quartz or granite.
With a 40mm thick edge and slightly rounded corners, laminate is available in many colours and finishes.
Quartz & Granite
For a touch of luxury, quartz and granite are the epitome of style. Custom-made to your requirements, this choice will certainly add that extra something to your kitchen island design. However, this option is for those with a larger budget. We work with typical depths of up to 150cm; however, larger depths are available.
